The Challenge

Hyper is a startup building AI data center infrastructure — PDUs, RPPs, switchboards, and integrated modular solutions. They use distributed manufacturing, with multiple facilities building products simultaneously.

When we started, they were using paper and spreadsheets to track manufacturing. The software didn’t exist. More critically, the manufacturing processes themselves weren’t defined. Before we could build software, we had to help Hyper figure out how their business would operate.

Strategic Thinking First, Software Second

We spent time on manufacturing floors, observed workflows, and ran workshops to map the entire process — from sales orders in the ERP to final product shipment. We helped define manufacturing stages, quality checkpoints, and handoffs between facilities.

This deep understanding of the physical operations was essential. We couldn’t design software for processes that hadn’t been defined yet. The strategy work came first, and it made the software better.

Three Interconnected Applications

HyperOS

The primary application for Hyper employees. Manages customers, inventory, receiving, manufacturing, shipping, service, and support. Powers all other views. HyperOS is the single source of truth for everything happening across all facilities.

Android Manufacturing Tablets

Technicians scan QR codes on products to access build scripts — comprehensive manufacturing instructions organized by stage. Each stage includes checklists that must be completed to advance the build. This ensures quality control and traceability at every step.

Tablet Manufacturing Interface

HyperSpace

Customer-facing application for tracking orders and shipments. Available on desktop and mobile, providing simplified progress views and service request management. Customers can see exactly where their products are in the manufacturing process.

The Impact

This software didn’t exist in the manufacturing industry. We replaced paper and pencils with tablets and data. The system is live and powers all Hyper manufacturing operations across multiple facilities.

We continue to build new features and maintain the system daily. As Hyper grows and adds new facilities, the software scales with them — something that was never possible with paper processes.
